Deeply Rooted in Altadena
Kim Kenne brings a deep, personal connection to the Pasadena Unified School Board. She's been our school board member for 15 years and has spent over 2 decades both as a parent leader and as an advocate for educational reforms.
As a PUSD board member and Altadena resident, she has worked to keep funding in the classroom. She's prioritized quality instruction with experienced teachers and the latest technology. She's a strong supporter of neighborhood schools and she puts student interests first.
Her own children have attended Blair Middle School, Eliot Middle School, Burbank Elementary and Longfellow Elementary.
Working Hard for Altadena
Throughout her recent term, Kim has remained dedicated to:
· Enhancing transparency regarding district finances, with a focus on legal and consultancy expenditures
· Ensuring all programmatic and budgetary choices are guided by concrete data and measurable outcomes
· Supporting student achievement and wellness in the wake of the Eaton Fire while securing vital state recovery grants for Altadena schools
Representing Altadena
As our representative, Kim will continue to work to:
· Increase opportunities for all students
· Engage families as partners in their child’s education
· Enforce fiscal stability of student programs so they can thrive even in challenging financial times
